My Updated Everyday Makeup Routine

Hey everyone! So way back last August I posted my everyday makeup routine and now I use almost all new products so I thought I'd do an updated one! Yes I do wear this everyday at school and some people may think it's a lot but my skin is really bad and this makes me more confident and also I love doing my makeup so why not! Also, if you want any full reviews on any of the products just leave a comment!!

Firstly, after I've washed my face and moisturised I apply Maybelline's Baby Skin. It's a light weight primer that I apply a small amount over all my spots.

Next, I apply Foundation - I use the Rimmel Match Perfection in 100 Ivory. I've gone through endless bottles of this as its my absolute favourite! I apply this with the Real Techniques Buffing Brush.

Then, because my skin is really bad I apply the Seventeen Stay Time concealer over all my blemishes and under my eyes and blend them in again using the Real Techniques Buffing Brush.

Next, I apply Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in the shade 001 Transparent. Everyone raves about this powder and I've used it ever since I started wearing makeup, it's a must have! I apply this with just a Primark Powder Brush.

Usually after this I look really pale so to add some colour back to my face I use the Miss Sporty Bronzing Powder in the shade 001 I am Blonde and Fabulous (long name I know). Using the Real Techniques Contour brush I just pop a little bit of the darker shade on my cheek bones and some of the lighter shade all over my face using the Primark Powder brush again.

Some days I'll also use Bourjois's Little round Pot Blush in the shade 34 Rose D'or. I apply this using one of my Jack Wills brushes (they didn't come with the types of brush they are but I find it perfect for blusher!)

Now moving onto eyes, I don't do much, only mascara. If you've read some of my previous blog posts you'll know that I'm a huge fan of Benefits Roller Lash and I found the perfect drug store dupe! It's the Maybelline Lash Sensational, it makes my lashes look longer and it doesn't clump just like Roller Lash!

Finally, onto my lips! To finish off my makeup look I use my little tester of the Burberry Lipstick - 'Burberry Kisses' I got. I got the colour Nude Beige and I love it! It gives a slight shimmer and it's so mousterising which is why I prefer it at the moment to my Mac one! However it is only tiny and the full size ones are so expensive:(

So that's my everyday makeup routine! I hope you enjoyed it, don't forget to comment if you want me to do any full reviews on any of the products!

Also thankyou for 5000 reads on my blog and 8000 followers on Twitter! It means so much! (My Twitter is @zalfiethough if you want to check it out!)

Countryside Walks | Day in the life

Hey guys! Recently, the weathers been so lovely with highs of 19 degrees today so me and my best friends went for a long walk to a little beck and a night time walk the night before. With living in the country side, going on walks comes with gorgeous views and a million places for photo opportunitys. So I'm just going to share some of the photos we took and some photos we thought were 'arty' because we like to think we're photographersčĺü

Sunsets are my absolute fave, I have around 50 photos on my phone just if sun sets, they're always gorgeous

We were very very proud of the last one seeming as we used a shoe to prop up the phone on timer and couldn't tell if we were even in shot!

Now onto the day time walk; It was so hot and we took some food and went to a little stream

Arty shot of me walking down the road as you do, quick OOTD; White Ribbed crop top - Topshop, Black High Waisted Skinny Jeans - Ark, Blue and Green over sized shirt - charity shop, Converse.

you always have to take photos of your feet (you know you do it)

Finally we found a bridge which I stared into for a bit of course, btw how cute are Abis space buns!

I hope you enjoyed this little, sort of random blog post! Leave a comment  if you'd like me to do more 'day in the life' type blogs because I think they're so cute and fun to do!

Thankyou for reading!
